Job Description

Our client based in Montrose are looking for Quality Coordinator for 1 years maternity cover.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Development and continuing improvement of Quality System required by (a) accrediting bodies (b) legislation (c) internal audit and performance measures
• Assist in the development and management of company standardized Quality Procedures and Policies appropriate to the organization’s purpose
• Ensure the distribution of new issues and updates of UK Aftermarket Quality Management System procedures and practices
• Review, get approval and upload revised or new Procedures, Work instructions and Forms to the company UK Smartbook (QMS) 
• Participate in standardised approach to scheduling, controlling and conducting Supplier & Internal Audits
• Review nonconforming process and determine and take the most appropriate action utilising all available data sources, experience and knowledge
• Raise and process internal NCRs as required and determine and take the most appropriate action, using all available relevant data sources
• Ensure relevant internal NCRs are subject to root cause analysis in a timely manner
• Review Corrective Actions to ensure root cause is addressed and ensure corrective actions are fully implemented to address root cause
• Ensure that Risk Management, MOC and Contingency process are correctly followed
• Identify areas for Improvements or Preventative actions to eliminate possible risks
• Ensure Quality Objectives, are measured and reported through preparation of Quality KPIs and statistics. Presentation of collated quality objective metrics monthly
• Participate in Management Review Meetings and report to Management on performance of QMS
• Conduct and participate in UK Aftermarket personnel QA training session
• Conduct competency assessment for the Quality Competency Modules
• Conducts Supplier Management process
• Review and QA approval of Databooks
• Assist the continued development of the process and methodology utilised within the function
• Travel when required as dictated by business need
• Perform any other duties as may be required to support the business

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

• Secondary Level Qualification
• Educated to a good standard of high school education or equivalent

• 0 – 4 years Quality Assurance Experience
• Demonstrable experience in quality Auditing
• Proficiency in MS applications
• Excellent Written and Oral Communications

• Functional / Technical Skills
