Job Description

Our client is looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer to join their busy Bulk Plant and Warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within the energy industry, with full training provided on specialist equipment and plant operations.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, quayside and bulk plant while maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with preparing stock, including palletising, shrink-wrapping, loading and unloading containers.
• Support the mixing of brines, including handling product sacks and taking sample weight measurements.
• Assist with loading and unloading vessels at the quayside and transferring products to and from storage tanks.
• Help with the filtration of returned customer fluids.
• Learn to operate bulk plant equipment, including valves, hoses and pumps.
• Prepare customer orders from written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure materials are stored safely.
• Assist with stock reporting and maintaining accurate records.
• Carry out general labouring duties as required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with company Health & Safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to maintain the appearance and organisation of the warehouse, yard and quayside facilities.

Full training will be given in the following areas
• Bulk plant operations
• Brine mixing processes
• Fluid filtration
• Safe operation of valves, hoses and pumps
• Warehouse procedures and stock control
• Quayside operations
• Forklift Truck operation (where appropriate)
• Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
• Candidate Requirements

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

Essential Requirements
• Previous labouring, warehouse or industrial experience.
• Driving License
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable with a flexible approach to work.

Desirable
• Forklift Licence (preferred but not essential as training may be provided).
