Job Description

Our client in Aberdeen has a requirement for a HR Business Partner on a contract basis.

Providing support to Business managers and employees in recruitment, on-boarding, HR policy & procedures and employee relations; general administration, leaver processing and maintenance of HR statistics.

Principle elements of the role or accountabilities:

• Provide Managers with Employee Relations advice
• Recruitment and Selection for onshore vacancies
• Induction of new employees and expats
• Supporting employees and managers on all modules within A Game
• Supporting Managers with Salary/Bonus/Equity/Succession planning
• Overseeing Absence Management and supporting employees with complex cases / Group Income Protection claims
• HR policy advice to managers and employees
• Attendance/participation in the Communications Forum
• SAP processing new hires, leavers, department changes, promotions
• Process leave requests (flex working, maternity, paternity, adoption, parental, shared parental)
• Supporting managers with Performance Management
• Maintenance and auditing of immigration process
• Conducting exit interviews as required
• Support Managers with G&A budgeting process (local & expat) and maintain accurate records throughout the year
• Gender Pay Gap reporting
• Equal Pay analysis
• GDPR data mapping and retention schedule
• Agency worker agreement checks
• Participate in annual salary surveys
• Attend quarterly AERG meetings
• Record and track continued vesting entitlements
• Travel & Accident Insurance renewal
• Track Certificate of Coverage & NI expiry
• Short Term Business Visitor reporting
• Support HR Manager with GPP Governance committee
• Take a role in Emergency Response and actively participating in exercises.
• Answer any general HR related queries
• Mentoring junior members of the HR team
• Adhoc projects as required

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

• Well organised and a team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good time-management and able to prioritise and act with a ‘Sense of Urgency’
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of HR databases
• Previous HR Advisory experience
• Relevant HR qualification, or be working towards it
• May be required to travel offshore
