Job Description

We are recruiting an Electronic Technician for a 4 - 12 week contract in Westhill.

The Electronic Technician is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery and readiness of equipment in line with operational demands. The role focuses on improving maintenance efficiency, reducing nonproductive time, and enhancing asset reliability within the Maintenance Base.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain assigned equipment in accordance with the maintenance program and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and standard work procedures.
• Accurately record materials, labour, and maintenance history within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) systems.
• Adhere to TLM Product Line standards and operational procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing asset utilisation andreducing cost of service delivery (CoSD).
• Support efforts to improve asset turnaround time by minimising downtime related to maintenance, parts, and repairs.
• Assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of maintenance operations.
• Implement CoSD improvement projects, including repair and reuse of components.
• Participate in failure investigations as required.
• Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

Skills & Experience
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment and instrumentation.
• Competent in reading and interpreting electrical/electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Understanding of control systems, sensors, and automation equipment.
• Familiarity with both digital and analogue electronics.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and industry best practices.
• Ability to install, calibrate, and maintain electronic systems and devices.

Required Qualifications & Certifications
• COMPEX Certification (Electronics preferred; Electricians with COMPEX certification will also be considered).
