Job Description

We are recruiting a Drilling Materials Coordinator for a 3/3 offshore rotation

• Manage the materials, personnel and logistical support requirement for the Offshore Operation
• Focal point for all materials and personnel planning during the drilling and completion operations
• Ensure all materials are moved in line with Company procedures and Legislative requirements
• Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment.
• Focal point for all logistics and materials movements to drilling installation – both for marine and aviation
• Liaise with Drilling Engineers, Superintendents and Onshore DMC to prepare equipment for present and future drilling operational requirements working from the well plan
• Prepare and distribute daily operations and logistics look-ahead in conjunction with the Offshore Drilling Supervisor to forecast vessel and personnel movements
• Prepare and Distribute load lists
• Provide operational feedback to Logistics/Drilling Team onshore on daily requirements
• Ensure all equipment and Personnel arrive Offshore in a timely efficient manner
• Ensure all equipment and Personnel are off hired in a timely efficient manner
• Provide drilling Supervision for all Materials and Logistics activities offshore
• Prepare and distribute Company’s drilling back load manifest and ensure that all supporting documentation including Dangerous Goods Declarations, SEPA Waste Notes, UCC customs awareness, and any other paperwork
• Manages and updates Rental Registers, Inventory and other required Spreadsheets
• Assist Onshore DMCs in Cost Tracking and enter costs in WellView
• Liaise with Platform / Rig Authorities to ensure there is no conflict between department & operations
• Lead by example to encourage and promote good teamwork to ensure the safe and efficient running of Company’s interests on the installation
• Attend Offshore drilling and logistics meetings as required
• Coordinate vessel and deck planning offshore
• Ensure safe and efficient deck management including CCUs on board
• Ensure supply vessel NPT is minimised
• Coordinate backload of all drilling material with vendors
• Waste Management coordination – both rig waste and well waste
• Manifest / SEPA documentation / Dangerous Goods and ensure full waste compliance from installation
• Onshore Drilling Material Coordinator cover may be required

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

Essential
• Knowledge and experience of Offshore Drilling, Completion, Well Services equipment and operations
• Logistical experience of offshore operations including the supply of materials, services and manning resources required to support well operations
• Computer literate: intermediate to advanced skills in use of PC-based spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail
• Good knowledge of HM Customs and Excise requirements

Desirable
• Experienced in Citrix and Wellview
