Job Description

The Technical Tools specialist is an international well site and workshop operational position.
• Show leadership in making HSE the top priority at all times. Actively comply with and ensure the compliance of others with the successful implementation and continuous improvement of Seawell’s QHSE Policies.
• Assist the client’s representatives in generating and reviewing operational programmes to meet the well objectives including providing technical clarification and support as required.
• Prepare and check equipment for the job in consultation with the client representatives and Seawell operations and sales personnel
• Provide technical support and oversee the rigging up and running of various tools (casing suspension plugs, cementing valves etc) according to company processes and procedures associated with offshore operations of company products.
• Prepare, plan and consult with rig crew during operations. 
• Maintain an accurate tool run and tool performance history. Ensure all tool failures are recorded and actioned.
• Perform redress of the equipment to ensure maximum tool reliability.

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years Offshore experience.
• High mechanical aptitude and skills
• Knowledge and experience of well construction techniques (drilling, cementing, casing/liner hangar systems) would be an advantage.
• Hard working, systematic approach and results orientated attitude required.
