Job Description

• Ensure that all standards and procedures are understood and maintained at all times.
• Proactively contribute to the functioning of the maintenance department, both onshore and offshore, through development of ideas and teamwork.
• Be proficient in the use of computers, computer programs and software applicable in the post.
• Liaise with the responsible Rig Manager on all maintenance issues and aim to resolve safely and purposely.
• Monitor on a daily basis the maintenance activity onboard the modular.
• Identify areas of non-compliance on a weekly basis and take action to address any non-compliances.
• Be cognizant of all safety alerts issued by regulatory bodies or vendors and ensure that the information is forwarded to the offshore teams as required, and actioned where appropriate.
• Check, approve and monitor repair requisitions to ensure they are carried out in timely fashion and to expected standards.
• Be responsible for ensuring that all legislative requirements applicable to the modular are maintained, and that documentation arising from legislation is maintained.
• Assist the engineering division with project work scopes as required.
• Liaise with the engineering project managers on issues/projects related to the modular and platforms on which the unit is operated.
• Be responsible as part of the onshore support team to carry out weekend and evening on-call duties on a rotational basis with the Rig Manager and/or maintenance team.
• Be responsible for carrying out regular offshore visits, should be monthly as per Rig Manager, to meet with the offshore maintenance teams and check on the effectiveness of the planned maintenance system with spot checks to ensure maintenance is in compliance with required standards.
• Will report to Rig Manager

Desired Qualities/Qualifications

• Job is based in New Plymouth, New Zealand but there may also be a requirement to visit and work at other company locations.
• Job includes competitive overseas living package.
• Must have Cyber based experience or Modular Rig Experience.
• Candidate must be safety competent and aware of job risks.
